We've been coming across a lot of very talented Canadian producers lately at HD, which sort of makes sense, considering the fact that we're we're based in Vancouver. Still, the particular influx of exciting aural art from the area is somewhat foreign to us. We've been blessed with the creations of Kaytranda and High Klassified, among others, but the crop of sound engineers in their shadows haven't exactly exploded onto the scene. There have been a slew of able creatives flooding our focus in recent times, though, and we're as entertained by the fact as we are appreciative of it. The latest individual to capture our affection is the 17-year-old Edmontonian producer, Tennyson, who has dished out heaps of magnificence with his latest offering, "No Answer". (Believe me when I say that there are all kinds of vibes existing on the effort.) Electronic, bass, garage, and chillwave are all the genres expressed in Tennyson's cooly experimental sound, and all work in brilliant accordance to elicit empowerment and awe, simultaneously. Of course, what's a track entitled "No Answer" without sampling a phone ringing? "No Answer" has that and much more, so prepare yourself for something breathtakingly new when you delve into the instrumental below.
