It’s clear that New York songstress Tei Shi has rocketed off of her recent SXSW performance, throwing at us a new single in the wake of a successful run on the Texan stages. She’s always been one to put an interesting blend of electronic and pop together with her tracks, and here with “Go Slow”, her brand-new piece, we’ve an enlightening continuation along such a path. The track itself is driven by an experimental beat and her very own softly reverbed vocals, and what slight raspy-sounding bits we get from it, too, only go to show how creatively nuanced her sound is becoming. This latest experiment from Tei Shi here the third single released from her upcoming Verde EP ("Bassically" and "See Me" came before it) that's to be released April 14. Be sure to get an ear on the singles above if you haven't already, and wait excitedly for the compilation's impending drop as its sure to be a great one.
