TCVVX is an R&B singer and producer from Brooklyn who just released his self-titled debut EP. The project was mostly recorded in Montreal, but, rather than latching to the modern Canadian sound, TCVVX builds on it, adding vulnerability that is generally missing from the detached vibe his contemporaries put forth. In avoiding the traps of cliche, the Brooklyn creator has crafted a moody and original six-song EP that separates him from the pack of R&B copycats and wannabees out. [via P&P]
