New York-based artist TCVVX still hasn't given us very much to work with as far as information goes, but this rather reclusive producer and vocalist has just released his first single in preparation for a self-titled EP, and it's an absolute knockout. "Clocks" is its name, and it contains the kind of dark and brooding sounds you might find in a Weeknd track, but TCVVX is forging his own path in music by pumping up the energy a bit and making the most out of his very crisp voice. His lyrics flow well with the production work, and despite the slow pacing, there's never a dull moment. We can't even imagine what the rest of TCVVX's music is destined to sound like if "Clocks" is any kind of expectation barometer, and there's a very real possibility we're looking at yet another contender for supremacy in the realm of experiential R&B if he keeps this qualit up. So while the guy may have just left the starting line with regard to his career and prospects from it, his opening act here couldn't have been more impressive, and it's got us all kinds of excited to see what he comes out with next.
