When two musicians, an Aussie and an Irelander, met by chance in a New York cafe, they must’ve quickly realized that they’d the potential to produce something special. Their combined talents have indeed done so under the group name "tamper", and they simply produce music that’s wholly gleaming in quality. "Take It In", their debut track, welcomes a bubbly, blooming synth as a headliner, which, in itself, is immediately indicative of the exquisitely formulated chemistry between the two talents. We can't ignore the mildly lo-fi vocals, either, as they're the cherry on top of the overall sound. "Take It In" offers the kind of vibes that we’ve felt in many a soulful stars recently, and it especially reminds us of alt-J in a sense, as the soothing feels that we obtain from it is comparable to that which is produced by the extremely successful Leeds four-piece. The originality of what we’ve in front of us has us yearning for the release of the duo’s four-part EP which is due within the first half of 2015, and we’re pretty sure it's a work that's only going to benefit the sonic arsenal of the up-and-comers.
