"'Cause I'm A Man" is the second taste of the new Tame Impala album, Currents, and if you were expecting to hear something you've already heard before from them, you'll be pleasantly surprised by this new track. "'Cause I'm A Man" is very much Tame Impala, but it's not quite as psych-rock-oriented as one would expect. The track is more of a wailing, sad-sounding '80s pop ballad, and despite the fact that that may not sound attractive on its own, "'Cause I'm A Man", still somehow manages to pull easy captivation. As far as foreshadowing what Currents will sound like, we've really no idea how "'Cause I'm A Man" is supposed to fit in, but by throwing a track like it into the ether to generate interest, Tame has definitely inspired intrigue in that thought.
