People say that the best things in life are worth waiting for, and no truer words apply to Irish talent Eoin French. Bursting onto the scene as Talos in January of last year with electrifying debut single “Tethered Bones”, French was poised to ride the wave of electronically inclined, soulful male pop music that was swelling in popularity at the time. Instead, Talos chose to take his own path, and we had to wait another ten months before we heard his follow-up, “Bloom”. It has since been nearly a year, but he's finally back to reward our patience with yet another knockout in third single, “In Time”. The new outing here sees Talos adopt a more organic sound over his previously digitally pronounced beats, and it serves to showcase his greatest asset: his absolutely breathtaking voice. Yes, this is a slower number for him, but Talos once again proves with it that the quality of his releases are undoubtedly worth the waits we have for them.
