We've already covered TĀLĀ's first two singles here, and while they both turned their fair share of heads, this third one looks like it might take the cake. "On My Own In Hua Hin" blends together the very distinct sounds of TĀLĀ's first two tracks, and it then adds some pace to give it a lot more energy then the previous two efforts. That's not to say that the track's predecessors were lacking in this department, but there's a noticeable difference in the composition that will perk your ears up and also reinforce TĀLĀ's status as one of the premiere emerging artists to look out for this year. TĀLĀ's already received some great press for her work, but there are so many acts nowadays that manage to get placements on sites without any substantial work to back up or justify the heightened visibility. TĀLĀ, on the other hand, seems to have what it takes to make it big, and her sound is unique, yet accessible enough to appeal to a wide range of audiences. Her latest track here isn't your average hook-laden pop single, but there's enough clever production work within to catch even the most casual of music fans off guard, and really create a memorable listening experience. The British artist's debut EP, The Duchess, comes out soon, so while you're waiting for that, enjoy "On My Own In Hua Hin" in all its quirky and creative beauty.
