It's been a few weeks since the Salk Lake City producer, Tajan, has released any new material, but we're not about to complain, not given the body of work we've witnessed from the up-and-coming individual. We're aware that quality take time, and we'll never knock him or any other artist for sacrificing the immediate gratification received from a release for the consistency inherent to patient productions. The latest from the seventeen-year-old, an uptempo, relatively sanguine instrumental entitled "Prove It [2 U]" follows an emotional wave of music composed by the producer over the past several months, most of which having incorporated glassy R&B samples into the offerings. And while "Prove It [2 U]" eases off the vocals for the majority of the effort, there's a sample looped enough to make its presence effectively known. The injection occurs alongside animated background synths and impelling percussion, and intelligently tempered bass boosts the track into instant replayability.
