The blend of electronic and alternative-tinged R&B is a growing one, no question, because we continue to come across artists with little exposure but ounces of potential with the particular sound. Canadian talent Sylo Nozra is typifying it all on his only EP to date, Late & Dawn, and, though the five-piece body of work is over three months old now, it has yet to gain the plays and attention it so rightfully deserves. We took quite favorably to three pieces from the project in particular, as their stunning sonic natures were at once recognizable while listening through. "Slowly, Carefully" really perked our ears with its downtempo cadences and occasional plucks shivering across it, an "Ferris Wheel" and "Her Unspoken Love" as well follow similar paths to the aforementioned cut. The cohesion among them all and the rest of the EP as a whole is pretty impressive for a first one out, and Sylo Nozra is going to be watched from here on out to see if he can replicate the obvious sonic success.
