Already housing the likes of SOHN and TĀLĀ, UK label Aesop is keeping their roster full of creative, outside-the-box creators. The latest to emerge from the upstart imprint is the London-based production and vocal duo, Sylas, and, quite honestly, they sound like they recorded their debut in the vacuum of space. With discordant sounds buzzing in every direction, their production is something that sounds like something out of a science-fiction movie scene, and to top them off, the vocals are just as imaginative. They're manipulated throughout, the vocals are—appearing "normal" in only quick bursts—and like the texture and mood that the track puts you in, it's hard to figure out what's real and what's not when you're journeying through the phantasmagorical effort.
