Possessing the kind of voice that sweeps you off your feet, Suzanna Choffel is no ordinary singer-songwriter. She's not a newcomer, either, but for us, this is our first time hearing her music, and we're definitely compelled to share. The NYC-based vocalist (along with her backing band) released Archer last year, so we're a bit late to the party, but as our favourite tracks, "Race Car" and "Animal", suggest, it's better late than never, because not having these songs in your collection would be a shame. "Race Car" is the first track on album, and champions a more pop-rock friendly sound, whereas "Animal" is an acoustic-laden offering that shows you her softer side. Both of the tracks naturally serve as the tease for the full length, so when you're finished with them, head on over to iTunes to purchase, or stream the entire ten-track effort on Bandcamp.
