Sunni Colón’s new track, blackMadonna, is very much in its own little niche, but the sounds he uses feel strangely familiar if you’ve ever seen any movie from the eighties, like, ever. Sunni doesn’t show his hand too early in the track, instead opting for a longer intro to build up tension, but once the music starts to acquire momentum, the guitars make an appearance, and steal the show, as note after note of distorted echoey goodness transforms "blackMadonna" into a electronic instrumental infused with just the right amount of 80’s rock ballad. It’s a fresh mix of ingredients, and it’s definitely something we would love to see more of.
