Now I must admit my knowledge in the indie.folk genre is very thin at best. But its hard to deny that "Vesuvius" is not a great track. Its like nothing I have ever heard before with its glitchy production complete with an array of sounds that teases the senses. To be even more brutally honest the rest of this album is pretty sleepy in my opinion. But if you are a frequent reader of this blog you will understand why I don't want to pretend to review an album like this. So just take a listen to Vesuvius and if you want to hear more you will have to wait till Oct 12th to buy this. 'Too Much" was also a standout on this album.
