As Meek Mill once proudly proclaimed, "There's levels to this shit!" And though he wasn't referencing electronic music with the particular claim, it can be certainly extended over to the genre. Some artists create mediocrity, others float around good, and then there's that upper-echelon of talent that is, without question, better than the rest. And in the case of Russian producer, Subranger, and his production, the music's on that level that immediately hits you, prompting you to take a step back to fully analyze what you're listening to. Our first introduction to Subranger's comes in the form of his flawless new three-track EP, Be There, that showcases his heavy-hitting barrage of percussion-heavy, ambient-bass-trodden and explosive, electronic-laced production. There's no easy highlight to suggest to you, because every track here is worth the listen, and trust us when we tell you how rare that it. There aren't many producers that come out of Russia, either, for that matter, but Subranger is about to change that real quick with his unbelievable sound.
