There are not many producers today as prolific and as talented as Frenchman Stwo, who's worked out an ideal sonic formula that works on every wing of his production endeavors. Today, we're turning our focus to his much-anticipated D.T.S.N.T. EP that he's just released, and, while we had little doubt on the quality of the tracks, it's thoroughly exhilarating to finally delve into it in full. The eight-track body of work is a more-than-well-thought-out excursion of how much Stwo has matured as a producer over the years and how he's been able to stand out comfortably in an incredibly hostile sonic field. We got a strong taste of the EP with singles "Haunted" and "Out At Night" in the past, and they still remain the strong favorites here. The MK Grands-featuring "Angeles" is the most uptempo of the lot, and we see with Atu and Brent Fiyaz-assisted track "Insecure" a more downtempo sound design. "Fill The Void" and "Blue Sky" are solid tracks as well, as they, too, lift Stwo's deft production skills and focus on the one-of-kind vocals on both the features present. Overall, D.T.S.N.T. is a statement of Stwo stepping outside the "SoundCloud producer" tag and portraying his ability to work tremendously beside a variety of vocal and production names. It's certainly one thing to gain notoriety off the back of one's solo work (as he has), but now that we see what he can do on collaborative affairs, we're comfortable heralding him as one of the best producers in any realm there are.
