Strange Jake has two tracks to his name, double-digit followers on SoundCloud, and almost no buzz surrounding his art, but that's about to change. With "Mountainside", the latest of the two tracks he's publicly released, he's an incredible cadence to share, and over some simple-but-effective electronic production, he uses it to pitch-perfection. There's an undeniable indie flair attached to the track, too, really hammering home his serene tone, and it's hard to think the sound won't win over those who happen across it. Jake's certainly a tune on his hands here, and it'll be a treat to see what glistening, downtempo-laced work he'll conjure up next.
