Stormzy goes somewhere quieter here, stripping back the grime bravado for something that actually aches. "Hide & Seek" rides a sparse piano loop and a vocal performance that earns every second of its runtime. He's not performing grief, he's sitting in it. Keep an ear on what happens when one of the genre's biggest voices decides to get still.
