Music is being pushed further and further each day; its boundaries seem to be disintegrating, and new technologies and creative minds continue to generate sounds that were previously unimaginable. However, the extraordinary thing about music is that, regardless of how far it progresses, someone can still sing a simple melody over a guitar and it can be equally as (if not, more) satisfying. Stonefox, a trio from Melbourne that formed only months ago, decides not to take part in all the perplexing sonic innovation that is constantly bombarding our ears; instead, they compose an indie-pop ballad with nothing more than a couple instruments and some stunning vocals. Their Twitter bio claims that they are just "three kids writing music", and that's just fine with us. [via Crack in the Road]
