The music scene in Vancouver may not be one that's globally recognizable, but with talented new acts like up-and-coming producer STINT (he's been killing it lately), and R&B trio DiRTY RADiO, we've two more that are beginning to put the city on the map. As the silky-sweet, Miguel-like "As Long As You're With Me" shows (it's DiRTY RADiO's first original release of the year), we've the kind of collaboration that's going to keep the buzz going for both of the acts. As STINT's own words about the track reveal, too, this was not just another effort to get out to the world, but rather, one made alongside friends, inspired by the rain, and close to the heart. "This song feels like home. I’m away from home a lot. In studios in and around LA. I’m headed out to NY and Toronto for a bit this summer and Berlin in the fall. Whenever I feel like I’m missing certain people, or a certain place, I put this track on in my headphones and by the time the verse hits, I’m ok. And I never listen to my own stuff. Like NEVER. Why this one? Maybe it’s cause I made it with some of my closest friends in the world, Dirty Radio. Or maybe it’s cause we made it on a rainy day in Vancouver, or maybe that’s just how the track sounds… Certain tracks have that quality. I’m really stoked you all have the chance to hear this now, and hopefully it can do the same or something equally clutch for you."
