We were first introduced to Berlin-based musician Niklas Kramer last year when he released his debut single, “Actors”, under the enigmatic moniker "Still Parade". Now expanded to a four-piece, Still Parade has maintained their presence throughout the year as they drip-fed single after incredible single from their debut Fields EP. Not ones to rest on their laurels, either, we're now being treated to brand-new music from the act as they release their new single, “Hunter”. Kramer’s decision to expand into a four-piece most likely came about to fully realize his sound in a live setting. The additional musicianship would have helped to reproduce the expansive sound found on recent songs such as “Reunion” and “Fields”, however, here on “Hunter”, we're brought back to a muted sound more akin to the debut track. All the members offer their talents, from delicate brush-stroke drumming, to intricate guitar work and subtle string arrangements that all elevate the track.
