2013 was a very good year for Australia's Sticky Fingers. They saw their debut album, Caress Your Soul, sell extremely well alongside a slew of other successes including selling out multiple shows across Australia, and reaching #70 on the Triple j’s Hottest 100 with their latest single "Australia Street". In 2014, there will be more than mere touring for this four-piece, too, because as we find out with their newest single, "Gold Snafu", the troublemakers will be back with their sophomore album, Land Of Pleasure, dropping later this year. On Caress Your Soul, we saw the reggae-influence take front and center, but now as we see with "Gold Snafu", you can hear how their sound has expanded beyond the walls of reggae-rock and ventured into more of a funk-pop-oriented sound that has loads more catch to it. If there ever was a perfect progression of their sound, this effort right here is it, and while we can only speculate on what their second album will sound like, it's safe to say that if it's anything like "Gold Snafu", we're going to be in for a treat.
