We don't really post mixtapes, mixes, podcasts, radioshows, whatever you want to call them, here on HillyDilly, but I had to share this as Stefan Biniak is bringing a whole new genre to my attention that I never really was intimate with: downtempo melodic house. I guess we've been posting it occassionally at HillyDilly - Kool and Kabul's Freedom Edit , Stefan Biniak's previous appearances, maybe even Cyril Hahn - but I thought that these were rare flukes in a foreign genre. This mixtape, though admittedly short, has proven me wrong. I won't post the whole podcast (you can and should stream the whole thing here) but below are some of the highlights, and you can believe it's likely you'll hear more from these producers, including Biniak, himself. Simultaneously relaxing and energizing, upbeat but melancholic, Stefan Biniak's 'podcasts' will work you into a state of euphoria and are endless sources of good music, if you're feeling the genre.
