No matter how advanced music technology becomes, some acts always choose to rejuvenate the past, and we're perfectly fine with that. Oftentimes, these tunes are some of our favorites, and one particular genre still housing such tracks is psychedelic-rock. Though some bands like Tame Impala and Temples have massively popularized the genre's revival, there are still plenty of groups floating along the surface that create genuinely excellent psych-rock pieces. One of these acts hails from New York City and calls "Steady Sun" their name. Steady Sun released their debut LP, Good Evening, over two years ago, and now, they're back with a spectacular new single, "Lover Knows" (their second album, Flora, will be released this summer). It's a highly complex, eclectic piece that can be hazy and mellow at times, but also spastic and rapidly paced at others. If you enjoy psych-rock, then it's absolutely mandatory that you listen to the release, and you should know, too, that it's available for download on both Bandcamp and iTunes.
