I've been hooked on starRo's sparkling sound ever since I came across his contribution to Soulection's White Label a couple of weeks ago, and through the four fantastic efforts on there, I knew to expect more greatness from him in the future. It turns out that I didn't have to wait too long, either, because with his unplanned release of "Waiting" today, I've more material of his to excitedly devour. The track was originally meant for his forthcoming album, but with having found more suitable material for that project since, he's chosen to share "Waiting" with us now, perhaps to build some anticipation for the work he's readying. Regardless why "Waiting" has dropped, there's no denying the quality inherent to it; an engaging atmosphere is instilled from the very beginning with grumbling synths and striking percussion, and as the effort unwinds, more vibrant synths, energetic hats, and double bass gets mixed in with screwed samples to provide for a high-energy and completely infectious aural affair.
