Going through Stacy's work, the evolution of his work appears to have progressed from solo beatmaking, to remixing more well-known hip-hop artists, to pairing up with rappers to create original productions together. In my opinion however, his solo work, uninhibited by lackluster or just inappropriately coupled rapping, is his best. Menomebeat contains comprehensive samples from Portland indie band Menomena worked into a fast paced, percussive, hip-hop influenced beat.
