There's always something to be said about simplicity when it comes to electronic music production. Sure, we love it when the efforts are dynamic and engaging, but sometimes we're also drawn to tracks that keep things straightforward with that "less is more" mantra. Take, for example, "Higher", from the Manchester-based producer, Stacks. He doesn't do too much with this song in regards to length or variations in the arrangements; rather, it's with his successful employment of the lead synth, pan flute, and hip-hop percussion that really has our attention.
