There isn't a reason to dwell linguistically upon the beautiful music we have here at our fingertips; words won't explain why this debut EP from Toronto songstress STACEY ought to be listened to at this very moment, so I'm going to try and offer as few as I have to in order to get you excitedly on your way to the breathtaking offerings on the debut body of work. Within the seconds shed from pressing play on STACEY, it's apparent that there's something magical about the project, and it's considerably difficult to break from the blatant captivation. The opening track unfolds initially with a beautiful melody played on the piano, and STACEY soon supplements it with a spellbinding lyrical deliverance that leaves nothing to be desired. There is a sonic enchantment birthed almost immediately from the impassioned vocal inflections, and an endearing ambiance emerges almost necessarily as a result. The following four tracks on STACEY continue the charmed vibes, and leave us questioning how they can possibly comprise the singer's first formal body of work. There's potential for widespread popularity here if STACEY endeavors onwards with her craft, and since we can't really envision that not happening, we're going to go ahead and suggest that you get familiar with her and some of her standout cuts shared below.
