We've been following St. South, the musical project of Olivia Gavranich, for a few years now, and she's managed to consistently impress us with her smooth vocals that always seem to adapt well to their overarching instrumental environment. Her most recent visit to our pages was three months ago with her rework of Drake's "Jungle", and today, she's returning once again with an outstanding new original piece titled "Better Still". On the new tune, Olivia's silky vocals gloss over a calm, soothing foundation of electronic synths and percussion created by fellow Australian Yujen, and, as this might represent our favorite work from either artist, we definitely hope that we get to hear more joint work from them ahead. "Better Still" is the first track on Imperium In Imperio, a compilation album that donates all proceeds to the Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund, and that is available for purchase now over on Bandcamp.
