We find new music here at Hillydilly in all sorts of interesting ways, but the vast majority of the time, sounds are found by trawling the depths of SoundCloud and other mysterious places for new names. It's there that we look for music that gets buried by the millions of other tracks fighting for air, with little hope of ever getting the recognition they deserve, and, every once in a while, we come across a song in an even more unorthodox location. This St Lucia rework by up-and-comer, Hunt for the Breeze, isn't even technically released yet, but we found it on a remix competition site hiding amongst some very, shall we say, "creative" interpretations of Jean-Philip Grobler's hit-single, "Elevate". However, unlike most of the other hopefuls in the applicant pool, this one is an absolute gem. Hunt for the Breeze has completely flipped the composition, and instead of St. Lucia's signature 80's pop flavor, you're greeted with a Cashmere Cat-esque build up with some of the coolest vocal sampling we've heard in a while. He's taken the individual stems from the original and re-purposed them into something else entirely, and the end result is a piece that breathes new life into the parent track.
