Although there is little to know about Spooky Black at the moment, it seems the whole "mysterious producer vs. the internet" trend is the best way to catch the attention of music listeners these days. In the case of Spooky Black, the internet facade reveals only subtle hints that he is more or less a G, draped in all black, sporting one singular gold chain. This isn't to mention his stunning vocals, or seamless R&B production style that we've heard on his Black Silk tape, either. Featured on his latest track is fellow St. Paul, Minnesota-native, Bobby Raps, who not only produced the track, but comes through with some of the best wordplay we've heard in a minute. "Look baby I need you, but if you ain't Ginuwine, Aaliyah". We're glad that Spooky isn't giving his energy away all at once; we're forced to follow him like a stage-five clinger at this point, and that's perfectly fine by us.
