There's certainly no shortage of beatmakers out there, and even though the vast majority of them end up blending in with one another, there definitely is a portion of more talented ones that get bunched up behind all the similar sounds. Italian producer SPONT is definitely a part of this group, and, as you can hear in our two favorite cuts from him, "we can take our time..." and "Remoteness", he really is outstanding at building dark and relaxed sounds. Although he's mostly limited himself to beat-making right now, we could see him going down a similar sonic route as an act like Hippie Sabotage, so we're going to be sure to keep our ears out for more of his work.
