The digital age has ushered in an era of unprecedented collaboration. With geographical barriers all but dissolved, musicians have been allowed to live wherever they like while still being able to work on their art, and, fortunately, spawned from that has been a bevy of tracks we wouldn't otherwise have. New acts continue to emerge bolstering this claim, and, today, we get to introduce another, electronic trio SP¡ON, to you all. Although identifying as a Norwegian group, all three members of this act are scattered across Europe, but that's proved little limitation as the group has just released their debut track. The catchy lyrical hooks and sprightly electronic elements within it are well-composed and drenched in a bold, '80s pop aesthetic, and, given the production and songwriting credits the three have (Pusha T, MNEK and Sinead Harnett), it's clear the trio knows exactly what it is they are up to.
