Talk about a tease. Back in April of last year, SPEAK dropped their instantly addicting single, "Peaks". It was the kind of song that led you into hoping that more was coming, because the track was simply that good. Unfortunately, that was eight months ago, and we still haven't heard any new material from them (Girlsongs is not technically new material). We're not mad at all here, though, we just really want to hear what SPEAK will come up with next. At least with the release of their new Peaks EP, we get a pair of new remixes and a new, self-imposed "Classical Guitar Arrangement" rendition. Taking the highlight point for us on the EP is Ted Gowans' remix that sees the addition of new synth parts, atmospheric percussion ricochets, and looping vocal samples that differentiate substantially from the original.
