We just posted a song from a "multimedia mixtape" curated by Blackbird Blackbird, and though the project as a whole is somewhat oddly presented, we've found some fantastic gems within that we're very eager to share. One such gem, Los Angeles producer Spazzkid's "Don't Tell Anyone", has contributed a dazzling electronic banger to the tape, and if you like the sounds of artists like Wave Racer, Saint Pepsi, and SBTRKT, then you're going to absolutely love the track. Spazzkid implements vibrant synths, bright soundscapes, and some fresh percussion throughout the beginning of the work, but about halfway through it, he drops a floor-shaking, bass-heavy beat that will get any party started in an instant. In the world of electronic dance music, there's definitely a tasteless side attached, but on the contrary, there's a very original, highly innovative one, and "Don't Tell Anyone" certainly and perfectly falls into the latter category.
