"Filling Your Cup" is the debut single from Melbourne-located singer-songwriter Southes., and with him we have a bit of a familiar sound, because along for the ride on the effort is Haxx, a name we've come to love through his production work for the barely classifiable electronic-pop De̊ǰa puts together. We're assuming here that "Southes." is meant to sound like "soothes", because when you listen to the vocals possessed by Lachie Anthony (Southes.) there's definitely a relaxing quality felt. The tone is of an ethereal quality, too, and when you combine them with Haxx's foggy and slow-moving production, a kind of rainy day and dark night-inclined listen ensues. Check it out below.
