When we see producers taking on remixes, the majority of the time, it's pop or R&B that's being covered, but with new-to-HD Russian producer Once Midnight, we've an individual electing to flip a soul-tinged rock track that sounds like it was recorded back in the '60s. The particular song is called "The River", it's from a new project, "Son Little", of Aaron Livingston's (RJD2, The Roots), and though the track was itself released in August alongside two other remixes, this one here from Once Midnight is easily the most appealing of the bunch, and is also the best place to start your familiarization with Son Little.
