Exactly one year and one day ago, we posted Jean Tonique's outstanding, disco-infused remix of "Photoman", and since then, the French producer has acquired a fairly decent following. However, we haven't heard anything from him that's impressed us like his "Photoman" remix did, that is, until now. Today, we're overjoyed to reintroduce Tonique to you Hillydilly readers with a remix that we find particularly exciting with the summer months just around the corner. On it, Jean took SomethingALaMode's insanely poppy track, "On My Mind", and morphed it marvelously into a sun-soaked jam, complete with tropical synths, refreshing percussion, electric guitar plucks, and infectious vocals from DWNTWN; and while the track isn't overly complex, it does possess a remarkably fresh vibe that we believe can be huge during the upcoming months.
