Sol's entire aesthetic—personal and artistic—revolves around the concept of journeying. Mentally, spiritually, and literally speaking, there has been no stunted progression on his behalf from when he first started out as an artist until now, and through his travels around the world and within his own benevolent mind, he's been able to provide us with some greatly introspective and extrospective works for us to relate to, thoroughly enjoy, and feel utterly compelled to share with others. One track in particular detailing keenly the emcee's sentiments, his recently released "People", showcases what truly awesome awareness and altruistic expressions Sol has to give, and now that we have a perfectly explorative accompanying video to hammer home his messages today, it'll be as easy as it's ever been to come to terms with the artist's knack for thinking of more than just himself. We need more of that in the hip-hop community, especially, and Sol's as capable of a leader as there is to usher in such an anti-egocentric culture.
