It's been some time since we've seen any act or artist come out of Belgium (Dave Luxe was the last that we've had here on our pages), but now with bass producer Elias De Poot coming into view earlier today, our attention is again brought to the land. The young electronic-bass specialist is already a budding star with his having won a beat battle competition in his country's second biggest city, and yesterday through his label, he's released a solid EP called Do Corredor—and one particular standout track from it—that really brings his talents to light. Elias has really constructed one vibe-heavy sound with his entire body of work, and fans of forward-leaning bass and electronic are really going to take favorably to it. There's an obvious appreciation for instrumental subtleties that he's injected into his sound, too (HD readers might be reminded of favorite instrumentalist Tom Misch), and the majority of the tracks harboring them are going to have you nodding your head in awe and appreciation. "Fluent", the first track of the EP, is our favorite from the project and the one track from the work that we have below, but we definitely encourage you to check out all of the others if you're looking to further flesh out what the guy's sound is all about.
