As most of you probably know, there's an abundance of electronic producers in the music world, and even though many of them yield great songs, oftentimes these producers end up blending in with one another. However, one production act that has had no trouble establishing a very recognizable, highly addictive sound is the UK duo, Snakehips. As of late, we've been craving more of their smooth, wavy blend of synth-laden electronic, and today, they've decided to grant our wishes with a brand-new song, "Gone", and exciting word of an upcoming EP. With each new song, Snakehips never fails to incorporate their trademark sounds, such as the glittering, retro-sounding electronic that appears in the choruses, or the low-key bass and percussion that permeates the entire effort. However, you can also hear some major variance in their production style, specifically with the oscillating synths. The track certainly wouldn't be complete without some vocals atop it, and Syd from The Internet decided to do the honors with her smooth, nonchalant style. You can expect to see the release of Snakehips' new EP, Forever (Pt. II), on March 9 via their own label, Hoffman West, and we've included their upcoming UK tour dates for you below.
