Dublin duo Slow Skies has been turning a lot of heads with their otherworldly brand of folk—a type earned with the delicate production of Conal Herron and the distinctive, equally stunning and chilling vocals of Karen Sheridan. The two really caught attention last year with "On The Shore", and returned recently to announce their upcoming EP, Keepsake, with the calming, XX-esque "Ice Field". Now, we're not sure why you'd ever be tempted to do so, but if you wanted to lump the two efforts of theirs into similar sonic categories, stop that thought, and listen to "Bodies". Whereas "On The Shore" and " Ice Field" are equally floating and chill-like, there is a darker undertone to "Bodies" that comes alive by plucked guitar bends, driving drums, and an absolutely ghostly chorus.
