SLO is a singer-songwriter we have not yet had the pleasure of featuring on the site before, but with her new single, "Shut Out Of Paradise", we couldn't help but making the track the first we've graced. It's a hyper-beautiful ballad making use of minimal production, and it's pretty impossible to pick apart the track in any kind of negative light at all. Sure, it's sad tones to it, but that's part of what makes it so incredible, and we've never been ones to want to separate emotion and art, anyway. We definitely think we'll be seeing more of Jess Mills (SLO) later on as a result of this remarkable piece, and seeing that she's already worked with notable artists in the industry and has a new EP coming out later this year, "later on" may turn into "a long, long time".
