It's always exciting coming across new material from London-based singer Jess Mills (SLO), and we're glad to see her back here after a year-long hiatus with Bearcubs-fueled track "Atone". SLO provides her signature R&B-leaning vocals here, but she also manages to lace them with a classic tone that more than works. Bearcubs, employs just the right amount of electronic to Jess' verses, and we're really hoping they'll connect on several more works in the time to come. (We've been told "Atone" represents the beginning of a new project by Jess that goes by the same name, so keep coming back to check on new works of hers when they come.)
