When your first track is so well received, it's often hard to keep up the pace with subsequent releases. With the pressure on, though, SLK was able to put out a follow-up single that matches, and possibly even exceeds, what she was she was able to pull off with the first one. Where her first track, "Ride", was dark and slow-moving, this new one has a little more energy, and embraces its dance heritage to a much larger extent. The intro is still as funky as ever, but it opens up into a big chorus arc that pairs perfectly with SLK's soulful vocals. Both this and the aforementioned track are quality efforts in their own right, but it's nice to see the development of her sound unfold as she releases more and more material.
