Slam Dunk'd is the new alias of Boston-born and former Afrika Bambaataa producer Arthur Baker, who, according to Stereogum, started to work on "No Price" thirty-five years ago, only to have it slip through the cracks and be forgotten about. However, now rediscovered, the song has received a helping hand from Dave 1 (Chromeo) and Al-P (MSTRKRFT) who, in their own ways, inject unique flavors into the throwback disco-soul of the original track. We're not sure if Arthur has more material like "No Price" forthcoming, but if we're taking an educated guess on top of knowledge that Slam Dunk'd is being released via Columbia Records, we'd say that there's more to come on the horizon.
