Everyone's favourite URL princess, Sky Ferreira, just released a new track, only this time around, the pop-misfit dropped her signature subdued electro-pop sound for a stripped-down acoustic one, showcasing her beautifully raw vocals on "Rancid Girl". The track is both written and composed by Jon Brion, Cass McCombs, Blake Mills, and of course, Sky herself. The song was intended for Sky's debut album, Night Time, My Time, released last October, but was eventually axed from the list of tracks for an undisclosed reason. Some of the songs from the same session were included on her 2012 EP, Ghost, leaving "Rancid Girl" a song to be appreciated on its own amazing accord.
