SKVTR appears to be another anonymous producer making his way out of internet obscurity, and even though he's only three works to his equally obscure name, they've each netted a respectable amount of plays, leading us to believe that he's taking his time with each offering (as every producer ought to). His latest track, "Cyprus", released earlier today to a light, but well-received reception, and it's quite easy to see why upon hearing the creatively experimental electronic sound within. There's really no easy way to classify the atmosphere the Calgary-native actualizes with the effort; it's airy, inviting, expressive, and a real nice result of coalesced instrumentations and light vocal loops. It's effortlessly serene, really making wonderful use of its minimalist style (whereas other efforts in the genre rely so often on in-your-face styles), and, as a result, we'll be bookmarking the track as another beautiful late-night listen.
