There are always new artists vying for attention, and some have to fight more than others in order to get it. Most fail to really take off, of course, because their music is just not there, but there are also newcomers like Skott providing the kind that attracts attention unto itself (and herself). The rising Norwegian has an incredible history coming from a forest commune and now making breathtaking tracks (that's the stuff of a biopic, is it not?), and, quite simply, her music is all that needs to be heard in order to know that she's the real deal. With an incredible track to her name in "Porcelain" already, and now a second in Beats 1-premiered "Wolf", the up-and-comer is truly solidifying herself as one set to dominate the indie-pop and singer-songwriter veins. She's already made a fan out of new artist-friendly Lorde, and it's only a matter of time before the masses get caught up in her enchanting sonic spell, too. We know we certainly have.
