At this point, it's unquestionable that Norwegian chanteuse Skott is in possession of an incredible talent. With the release of her stellar debut single, “Porcelain”, earlier this year and the increasingly impressive singles that have followed since, she has demonstrated her diversity of style and influence to create a sound that is entirely her own. With latest single “Lack of Emotion”, Skott continues building her sound with a cinematic flair. Imbued with dazzling falsetto notes, swelling string arrangements, and other theatrical quirks (shout out to the impromptu whistle breakdown), it has an almost dark and twisted fairy-tale quality to it, and it is this eclectic nature that has earned Skott such a well-deserving base of fans.
